The Power of Prayer
God calls us to be closer to him and raise our minds and heart to Him. For God wants us to have a close, intimate relationship with Him where we involve him in every part of our lives. He wants us to trust Him, to share our troubles and good times, and to request His assistance. Though in order to have such a relationship with God, we need to spend time with Him in prayer. Through prayer, we use our minds and hearts to bless, adore and praise God, and we strive to understand God. In prayer, we ask God to help us in our daily needs and in times of trouble, and through prayer, we give thanks for all of the blessings and graces he provides for us. Similar to a relationship with a friend or spouse it takes a commitment of time, effort, and willingness to share and to listen. This page is dedicated to the power of prayer.
